The Church’s Safety & Security team (known as SOS) is looking for a few people to fill in its ranks. SOS is part of the Operations Council and has specific responsibilities for preparing for and addressing emergencies or disruptive behavior in the building and on the church grounds.  No previous training is necessary, just a willingness to help.

Members work with staff and other teams in reviewing and updating existing safety and security policies. They conduct annual reviews of the building emergency plan and provide leadership in implementing the recommendations from the Safety Assessment. 

The current chair of the team is rotating off that role and will stay on the team to provide support for a new SOS Team Chair.
